Stefan Redtenbacher
Stefan's band, the Redtenbacher’s Funkestra have released 8 records and have recorded and performed with funk/jazz legends such as Fred Wesley, ‘Pee Wee Ellis’, (James Brown, Parliament), Lenny Pickett, Stephen ‘Doc’ Kupka’, Lee Thornburg (TOP), the horn sections of Prince, Incognito and The Brand New Heavies, Eric Krasno (Lettuce), Elliott Randall (Steely Dan), Chris Hunter, Rick Margitza (Miles Davis), Stanton Moore (Galactic), Andy Snitzer and perform on a regular basis in and around London, UK.

Stefan is a graduate of the Vienna Conservatory, Berklee College of Music, Chichester University and the Institute of Education. He is the co-founder of KnowledgeRocks, a Music Education Technology company that combines sheet music and backing tracks into perfect practise units via their KR Player and KR Author apps. As a sidemen he has performed and recorded with artists such as Herb Alpert, Steve Winwood, Jack Bruce, Amy Winehouse, Lulu and Kiki Dee to name a few.
